I've read through the posts about he superchip, and the stuff about them working like they should. So... decided the way I'm going to go is the shift kit/shift chip way. I'm a college student so the $300 would be hard to come by for the superchip. What I want is some suggestions as to where to buy such a kit, and what you all think of them.

HI!... BLUE-FARMER : I would go with a BAUMANN ENGINEERING shift kit. That's what I installed in my truck, and am very pleased with it. By the way, I would also get a SUPERCHIP down the road when you can afford it. The SUPERCHIP is the best BANG for the BUCK.

HI!... BLUE-FARMER : I bought my BAUMANN ENGINEERING shift kit from RCO ENTERPRIZES in LONDON, ONTARIO, about 1-1/2 hours from WINDSOR where I live. The U.S price for the kit was $99.95(U.S). I would advise you, if you have close to, or more than 40,000KMS on your truck to also get a B/E PREASURE REGULATOR VALVE, PART # PR-AOD-E. It's $15.00(U.S). Also a B/E BYPASS CLUTCH CONTROL VALVE, PART # BCV-AOD-E. It's $25.00(U.S). For the extra $40.00(U.S) it's well worth getting. The BCCV is known for wearing out around the 40,000KM mark. I installed all of these parts and installed the shift kit on stage 5. The highest possible setting in the kit is stage 6. It's very easy to install these two extra valves since you will be taking the valve body apart to do the shift kit. Hope this helps you out and if you have anymore questions just ask.
