Question HELP plz

hey everyone thanks for taking ur time and reading this, i have a 2001 f 150 , 5.4L 4x2 with a 3.55 gear ratio. i lifted my truck with 3" spindles and put on 33" tires on there, my questions is , that i wan to put on the 6.5 " fabtech lift on my truck and im gonna run 35" tires on there, by changing my gear ratio to 4.56 is my truck gonna feel close to how stock was. and would it put a big strain on my engine , i wanna lift my truck but i dont wanna hurt my baby. ?? thanks for all your comments ,

Cool

You should be just fine with the 4.56 gears. Go for it.

Thumbs up

From what I've heard here, you should be fine with either the 4.10 or 4.56 set-up. I have a 2000 with the 4.6 liter and the same Fabtech lift kit and still have the 33" BFG's on. I think it looks alright and I can live with the performance, but I plan on moving to 35's next summer. I was figuring I'd probably just go to 4.10 gears. I don't do much hauling or towing, and I think the 4.56 might be just a little too much low end grunt and not enough cruise... Opinions?
I know there are a few people here with 35's and the stock 3.55 gears. How about some input from them?

Thanks much.
