I have a 99 sport 4x4 I drive alot
It has 54000 miles on it.
When I was changing the oil the other day I noticed a spot on the back of the transmission had fluid on it. upon further looking I noticed that it had enough fluid on it to form a drop or two at the bottom.
This really concerns me. Has anyone else had a problem like this?
If I change the fluid what kind do you suggest I replace it with?

Unless you already have a shop maunal this will suprise you. You ask what to replace it with. How about Automatic transmission fluid. Thats what these take strangly enough. Surprised me.
