Question Tire size and towing

I went to 305/75-16 tires and would like to know how much this will effect towing as in light towing like a small trailer and a quad or jet skis, to a large boat.I know that you should have the o/d off when towing something heavy, but should I shut the o/d off now with something light because of change in tire size?(5.4,auto,3.55)

These bigger tires will eat up more of your power than the stock size. What gears do you have in the truck? If you have the 3.55 or steeper it shouldn't be much of an issue to tow. As far as the od being turned off goes yes I would turn it off.Hope this helps
