Anyone have experience with.....

Im looking for input on anyone who has tried an aftermarket torque converter for their daily driver. SOmething like the level 10 or art car? If so, what are your thoughts on it and what kind of performance increases did you notice?

ask the lightning guys, theyll know the answer. most people on average wont change their converters because higher stalls arent good for towing and such.

Ive done some talking with Scott @ art car about a general all around TC that will not only be suitable for towing and off road but also handle more power, give better throttle response, more HP to the wheels and lower E/t's. I dont have much faith in my 4R70W so my goal is two fold. Replace TC with unit capable of handling my 400+rwhp(at 300rwhp now but mods on the way to take me 400) and help me get more power to the ground while being suitable for a daily driver.

Thanks Johnny, I got e-mails into PI and Yank, see what they have to say. Im not all that worried about cost, more worried about quality, performance and customer service should something go wrong. I did some searching here and at the other site and there isnt much good said about Art Carr. But PI and Yank got some good reveiws.
