Reverse-to-Drive Tans Slip
I looked at old messages and couldn't see where this issue had been addressed in the past. If it has, I appologize.
I just purchased a used '97 F-150 2WD with the 4.2L engine. I've noticed that when the engine is cold and I back out of my driveway, it takes anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds for the transmission to kick into Drive. Is this slippage normal?? If not, I'd appreciate any suggestions.
