Transmission temperature gauge

Transmission temperature gauge

Where can one buy a temperature gauge, and is a mechanical better than elecrical.

As far as accuracy, probably the mechanical is better. This has been covered a lot in the last month or so.

I use the Cyberdyne digital on mine. Red or green displays available.

One thing is most tranny gauges do not start reading until >120*. I have to drive a good half hour to get my trans that warm in cool weather. The digital starts reading at 70*.

Search by my ID for all sorts of trans temp gauge info.

Bottom line: Electric prefferred, since you can switch between trans and diff sending units. I prefer autometer.
