TRANS & COMPUTER... HOW DO THEY WORK TOGETHER?
It sounds to me like the torque converter locking up, and sounds completely normal. I have heard a lot of people describe what they thought was a problem that was actually the normal operation of converter lock.
The computer will pick up a code from the TSS or OSS if the transmission is slipping when it shouldn't be, and the valve body pressures are read by the computer too, I'm pretty sure. Get the Tech at the dealer to ride with you driving and make sure you explain just what you think is unnatural when it happens and get his feedback.

I have noticed a slip feeling when I start out. Then at about 2,000 RPM I get a bit of a buck (like the trans grabs) almost like it changed gears but I'm still in 1st.
-Started out bucking around 1800 RPMs.
-Can buck as high as 2,500 RPMS at times.
-Is worse when cold or on hill.
-Been going on for 8 months or so, noticed it right after the install of my 5.4 FQR for piston slap.
- 2 deelerships said the same thing, the computer will throw a code if there's a problem with the trans.
Could it be the torque converter?
I have posted this question before but I'm getting worried. What should I ask the dealer to look for? Codes can't catch everything can they?
If the engine RPMs did not jive with my motion, would that produce a code?
HELP!!!!
Have about 59K on it with a 75K warranty.
Been flushed routinely with filter changed.
