Question OD

Lately I notice my 97 F150 4x4 transmission seems to be slipping around 80 km/hr to 100 km/hr. However when I switch OD off I don't get the same problem. Any ideas?

Trek,
I hope you're tranny is working the same as mine has since new. When the truck encounters an extra load, like a hill, the torque converter will "unlock" & the rpm will increase about 500 rpm (multiplying torque). If that is not enough, the trans dounshifts a gear. I can see this on the tach in every gear but low. I think this is the way the trans is supposed to work. Or I hope it is after 60k.
