Question vibration

I am getting a bad vibration from the rear whenever i start off from a complete stop or after backing up. If i make a turn or just take off i get a vibration for around 10 feet and then it goes away. I have noticed that the power has dropped off over the past 6 months as well. truck is 99 f150 reg. cab with 5.4 v-8. Any help would be appr. This is getting worse and really annoying.

You're feeling driveline vibration (drive shaft).

To prove it to yourself, get a few of your biggest friends to sit on the tailgate and start off -- it will probably eliminate it by changing the angle more to straight by the lowering of the bed.
