Have a 94 Bronco, 351, E4OD with push button 4x4. The 4x4 is working intermittently at best. I have replaced the actuator motor on the transfer case per dealer recomendation but that did not help anything. Sometime it will work for a few days then not work at all. Seems to not work when it gets hot or there is moisture or water in the air. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am not new to car work, so if you want me to check out wires and power I have the test lights to do it.

Do some key-word searches over the past year and a half for this one -- I seem to remember a similar post/fix by someone who documented it well and/or was a mechanic and understood the system pretty well.
