Question Shiftplus long term use

Has anyone used the B&M Shiftplus kit long term. What setting do you leave it in? Have you had any trany problems? I want to leave it in the fist setting but I'm worried that I might damage the transmission. Let me know. Thanks!

I've had mine installed for maybe 60 days and so far, no problems at all. I leave it in the #1 position and it seems to be OK. Really never tried the #2 (hardest) position.

I did drive 400 mi to Kansas City a few weeks ago, and for that jaunt, I left it in the factory stock position.

The only negative I noticed is a slight buzzing at idle with the tranny in drive. IN park, it goes away.

Well, I've had my Shift+ for about 1.5 years now, and have had no problems. I usually leave it on setting 1. I've also used setting 2 off & on, and I think if you're concerned about damaging the tranny, you should just leave it in position 1.

Just remember the only time the kit comes into play is during the actual shift. The rest of the time, it does nothing. Regular shift kits do more than this kit.
