I have a 99 F150 4x4 5.4 with 4R100 Trans.
I have to move the gear selector around quit a bit to get
it to go into the proper gear. When in drive the selector arm
can be moved to indicate it is neutral

Truck has less than 1400 miles on it.

Does any one know how to adjust it so it works properly.
I would prefer not to take it to the dealer for warranty work if this is a simple adjustment. Seems like the dealers fix one thing and screw two more up in the process.
