HI!... Well guys I finally ordered my BAUMANN ENGINEERING shift kit today. I also ordered their PREASURE REGULATOR VALVE and BYPASS CLUTCH CONTROL VALVE made by SONNAX. Total cost of the kit was $308.14(can). Also next week I have to pic up a trans filter, pan gasket, aftermarket drain plug and 13 liters of REDLINE SYNTHETIC tranny fluid (D4-ATF). The REDLINE is about $14.00(CAN) a liter!(13 LITERS = $182.00(CAN)) WHOO sometimes I hate living in CANADA!lol! I let you guys know when I install it.

NEAL- I am wondering how to put a pressure regulator to good use on my truck also.... Have stock inerds like you with 19lb injectors. Does the regulator you bought run at factory psi during normal throttle then bost up to the regulated level you select at WOT only?? or Do you have to set it by hand up or down everytime you need more pressure?? or Does it stay at a preset level??? and Did you also go for the bigger fuel pump??? Again I'm interested in more power/speed at WOT only. Is this what your doing?.... Thanks ..Capt.

HI!... CAPT. AMERICA :The PREASURE REGULATOR that I bought is not a fuel regulator. It's a preasure regulator for the tranny. The stock one is prone to wear and sticking. You will not gain ant more h.p by installing a bigger fuel pump or fuel regulator. The stock pump is capable of supporting a lot more h.p than we will probably put out with bolt-ons. I will though be installing an ajustable fuel preasure regulator om my truck when I install my KENNE BELL supercharger this late FALL.

Cool

HI!... Well guys on SATURDAY I installed my BAUMANN ENGINEERING shift kit. It took me and a buddy 7 hours to put this dam kit in! The instructions were a joke. They use the same instruction book for all models of the 4R70W from 1994 to present. The problem is that my "99" 4R70W tranny was severely modified from the factory for "99". I had to guess on a lot of stuff because BAUMANN ENGINEERING would'nt answer the phone or return any of my messages! It says right at the back of their instruction book that if you need any technical support that they are open on SATURDAYS from 10A.M to 6P.M, yet nobody was there to answer the dam phone! Let's just say that I was really pissed off!! Well I got it all back together and it runs O.K. The shifts hav'nt changed in the 1st to 2nd upshift at all except for when I'm at full throttle. The 2nd to 3rd upshift at part throttle is pretty hard. The full throttle 2nd to 3rd gets a chirp every once and a while. I'm not happy the way it is, so I am going to call BAUMANN on MONDAY and give them *****! I'm going to tell them to update their dam instruction book! I have to get some more info from them on the 1st-2nd accumilator, because the pictures they have in their book are no where even close to what I have and the springs are the wrong sizes. I think that is why my 1st to 2nd upshifts are really weak right now. I'll let you guys know how it goes. By the way the shift kit comes with 5 settings. # 5 being the hardest shift. I went with # 4 setting and my SUPERCHIP has been modified for a even harder shift that the normal program is capable of.
