Clutch Replacement Cost

Clutch Replacement Cost
Got a 95 with 116,000 mostly highway miles. Clutch is fine but thought it's probably time to replace it before it dictates terms on its own. Questions: what is a reasonable cost to replace the "clutch" given it is still working fine? What should be replaced? What is the labor time invloved for an experienced mechanic? Thanks!

I did one myself on a 83 Chevette.
It was time consuming but not difficult.
I paid $80.00 or so for the pressure plate, release bearing, and the disc itself.
I wouldn't fix it unless its slipping, clutches can last a VERY long time if taken care of.
On my Nissan I had 106,000 miles on it and still had the original clutch when I sold it.
When the clutch goes it normally slips a little and gradually gets worse until it won't catch at all.
I WILL tell you this buy the highest quality clutch and pressure plate they have.
Belive me you don't want to do it twice.
(I found that out the hard way)
