My 98 Expidition 4x4 XLT(5.4) seems to hesitate or SLIP when I start out. When I start from a stop the truck revs to about 1800 RMP without giving much power (but I'm moving) then at 1800 the truck feels like it shifts into 2nd gear... BUT ITS NOT SECOND!!! I have counted a thousand times, its defintately first. Its kinda like the torque converter locks at 1800 or something.

Just like the PISTON SLAP the dealer will not aknowledge a problem.

Anyone with similar problem?
