97' 5 speed, what can it handle?
I just got done reading through many many back topic from all over and one thing I got is the manual transmission can't handle to much power. They said a supercharger would kill the transmission, so that scratches something of my hopup list.
So how much can this tranny handle? I was planning on a filter charger, headers, cat back, chip and eventually a S/C. Would everything but the S/C be to much for the tranny? Or could I swap in a different manual transmission like a t5?

I've got the K&N air filter, flowmaster cat-back and the superchip. My 4.6 5speed handles all that just fine. Really added some pep to the beast

Well I was planning on headers, catback, some sort of ram air, maybe a larger throttle body and MAS, and eventually chip. Guess I should be glad that I can't spend over 2 grand on a S/C, can actually pay the truck off then. How about a new pair of heads?
thanks
