Question no downshifting.

For the last month or so i have noticed that my truck does not downshift every time i go w.o.t.Some times it wil respond and other times it just stays in the same gear. the only change i have made is installing 275/70/16 tires. has anyone experienced anything kike this? or is it because of the bigger tires?

I suggest you go to 4lo.com or another site and calculate the difference from the old to the new tire and see what your effective rear end gear is now. Changing the tire diameter has made a difference.
