Question Should T/C be drained w/ every ATF change?

The manuals aren't clear on this? What's your experience: do you drain the torque converter fluid every time you do tranny fluid/filter change?

The manuals don't even tell you how to drain the torque converter

The answer is yes, always drain the torque converter. The transmission only holds 5 qts. The rest is in the converter and the lines.
