Question Cooler standard equipment?

Newbie questions - Is a transmission cooler standard equipment/factory installed on a '01 F-250 SD SuperCab 5.4L auto transmission? If so, is it adequate for towing 5100# travel trailer? Is a tran. temp gauge needed?

Thanks for any input. Need to know how many upgrades will be needed to make this my tow vehicle.

Oh yeah, this truck comes w/ towing package, whatever that includes.

You should have it. If you peal back the corner of the rubber flaring between the grill and radiator support, you can look between the a/c and the radiator. There should be a cooler about 2 feet long and a foot high or so. That is the tranny cooler. The little one in front behind the license plate bracket is for power steering. A guage is a good idea. You may never need it but it is interesting to watch how much heat the tranny produces.
