I have a 4.6 98' XLT with roughly 52 thousand on the od. My problem is with the tranny, it seems to shift to early while climbing hills, and just plain doesnt feel right. Im not sure of the vehicles maitenence records but im pretty sure the tranny has never been serviced. My first question is, is changing the tranny fluid/ filter a royal pain ? & Can someone recomend a shift kit for this truck. Any comments are greatly appreciated.
