I have been hearing some people on here lately that say the E40D is a how should i say, not so good tranny. UH??????? Alot of people in my town(i call it a village lol!!!) say that the E40D is a good tranny and well my so called town is full of fords. Well they may be BS n but what do you people think about that particualr tranny????????

 

I have the 4R100 which i believe is pretty much the same, just a differnetn code name. I love it. I had a slight TQ shudder, but i just changed the tranny fluid and it fixed it. I haven't had any problems with it. It's also the heavy service transmission, so you get the tranny cooler and stuff to.
