Unhappy Two or three second delay from R to D

Lately I've noticed that the delay from Reverse to Drive is getting longer and longer. I have not checked the level yet (will do it tomorrow) My shudder is also beginning to happen again on the 2/3 shift. Is there anything besides a slightly low fluid level that will cause this? It has been getting steadily worse since the first, second, and third "Could Not Duplicates" at the dealer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.,,,,,98

98,
My 4R70W has never had more then a "momentary" pause between R and D.
Check the levels first. This use to happen to my sisters ford and it was the fluid level EVERY time. Hers leaked like a sive but she was never good with maint (a quart low 5 times was an oil change to her).
Good luck...
