Friction modifier ??

Question Friction modifier ??
I asked this question elswhere but got no response. For those in the know, do you have to add friction modifier to Mobil 1 ATF ??

The question probably confused people. The transmission only needs the specified transmission fluid. Friction modifier is added to the LS rear-end during normal maintenance.

Thanx Max, I have heard of people adding it to the tranny too but was'nt sure if it was needed or just an attempt to cure the shudder.

You're Welcome !! You're correct, it's an "attempt". Normal transmission maintenance doesn't require it.
