3-2 Downshift Click
Vehicle--2002 SCrew 5.4L 4R70W 3.55LS 3300 miles
Just noticed this today--driving along around 30-35, had to speed up and pressed the go-pedal about halfway very quickly. The truck downshifted to 2nd and I noticed a 'click' sound as it did. Hmmm....
Drove around a bit more and found I could duplicate the click only if I stabbed the pedal down quickly and made it downshift. Pressing the pedal slower to produce a downshift didn't produce the 'click' The sound is only heard and not felt...not an earth shattering sound, but noticeable nonetheless.
Shifting seems normal, fluid level is fine...this click sound has got me a bit worried. Anyone else notice this? Normal or a sign of bad things to come?
