speed sensor same on A/T and M/T?

speed sensor same on A/T and M/T?
I have 4.6L 99 f-150 with the 5spd. wanted to know if the speed sensor (the little magnetic pickup sensor) on the manual is the same as on the automatics.

i have found out very fast about the speed sensors,THERE is a difference! i have a auto in my 96 and it is on the top of the rear axle. i beleive yours is in the front somewhere or on the tranny itself.
