Question 82 trannie

Hello, forgive my ignorance but I'm new to the site. I have an 82 F150 4x4 raised 3" with 32" tires. The problem is getting started in first gear. In order to ge it to move I have to rev it past 2k rpm and feather the heck out of the clutch. I'm worried i'm going to wear out my clutch and I'm tired of stalling it. So... was curious if I could change the ratio of first gear and if so how difficult would it be?

You wouldn't need to change the tranny ratio, you would need to change the rear end gear ratio. However, 32" tires aren't that big, either your engine is seriously underpowered or there is something wrong with the tranny.
