Tranny ID question

I think it is a C4 but i am not sure. On the top of the case near the bellhousing is a large "63." On the side of the tranny is an embossed circle divided into 3 sections. One section has eithier an "N" or a "Z". The second section reads "RF-D3AP-7D" with the ford logo above it. The third section has"027-AA" on one line "CFC" below it and a "6" on the last line. It is an Automatic transmission.

Also This was originally a 4WD tranny. The transfer case has been removed and it is going into a 2WD truck. Where can i find an aftermarket tailshaft for it? Or is it a dealer only part?
