AOD slipping?

did a search on AOD but did not really find anything. I have a AOD behind a 302 EFI in a jeep, tranny shifts fine from 1st to 2nd, from 2nd to 3rd the engine revs up and you can tell the tranny is not grabbing, fluid level is good. any suggestions would be great. have about 60k on the tranny. Also, how does the tranny know to shift gears? no vacuum lines...

Even though there is enough fluid -- does it need to be changed? You should have the tranny fluid flushed about every 25,000 miles
