Working on a friends super charged 2002 F150 Harley.
The speedo bounces ,goes nuts I like to say,and the OD light on the shifter flashes.
The trans does seem to be a bit confused at times.
I do have an P0721 OSS performance code.

We will have it on the lift so I will check for wire damage but, is this an indication of a bad sensor?

 

Most likely a bad OSS, but it could be wiring, solenoids, valve body, or TCM (4R100) /PCM (4R70W).

 

Thanks for the reply I found a wire harness laying on the long tube headers on the right side. I didn’t see any bare wires but I’m going to tie it back and clear all codes and take it for a drive.
We are friends with the local parts store so we gettin a sensor so we will have it if we need it.
