Rebuild Transmission?
Was getting a flashing OD light on my 2001 F150 Lariat Supercrew and I took it to the shop.
So my transmission center says:
P0741 torque converter clutch system stuck off
P0174 system to lean bank 2
Cleared codes and monitored lock up slip on the highway
Lock up with slipping over 100 RPM while converter was commanded at 100%.
This indicates an internal issue in the transmission.
Recommend rebuilding transmission
Does that sound correct?

Possible causes
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve
- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness or connectors
- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted
- Transmission internal mechanical problem
- Low transmission fluid level
