Transmission problem

I have a 2006 F-150 v-6 automatic 2wheel drive it moves forward in reverse and neutral and wont rev up in park

Take it to a transmission shop.

Read out the OBD2 with a scanner that can read Ford transmission codes.

Something inside the transmission broke. It's going to need to be pulled and opened up and rebuilt. Probably a clutch has welded itself in the engaged position.

If removal and rebuild isn't in your comfort zone, take it to a shop. I wouldn't even bother trying to read codes, it has an internal mechanical failure.

I apparently have a 4R70E transmission 2 wheel drive with a 4.2 motor do any other year transmission fit this truck
