fordtransmission interchange.

will a 1l3p-bc with id number rff81p7006-aa from a 01 ford 4x4 expedition replace a 5l3p 7000 da with id # rf602p 7006 -a in an 05 f 150 2wd both vehicles have 5.4 tritons

Eh, it might, but you'll probably have to bring over any electronics over from the 05.

If you are willing to wait, there are some folks on here that have much better experience than I do with these types of questions.

im taking it out of the 01 expedition and putting it into the 05 150. thank you for your fast reply. Patience is my middle name.

Nope, it is not compatible. You need a 04 or later transmission.

no, its not a direct swap. 4wd transmission uses different ouput shaft and extension housing.

2005 vehicle/PCM requires turbine speed sensor (TSS), which the 2001 transmission case is not machine for or have the correct internal parts.

EPC solenoid is different between the 2 transmissions

outputshaft ring gear and speed sensors are different between the 2 transmsisions.

for your application, you need a 2004 - 2007 2wd truck transmission.
