M5r2 internals
Hello everyone I have a 2000 f150 4.2l and the gears are bad, I’m wondering if the internals from a 98 M5r2 would match up to mine, Ik the used a different bell housing. Thanks for any help in advance

No, it changed in 99. However, you can use a whole older transmission but the shifter is in a different location. Bellhousing patterns are the same with a 4.2, 4.9, or 5.0 but NOT with a 4.6.
