1982 F-250, 4x4, 351w C-6 1345bw. I have an AOD , 2x4 version, and i need to get a shorter output shaft and slip yoke, Ive got the flexplate w/50oz weight and know about shift linkage and tv cable. My question is they do make a short shaft for the AOD, is it interchangeable with a long shaft and will it work w/the right slip yoke in my 4x4

 

Are you sure you want to put an AOD behind a 351? It's a light duty transmission.
