So I had a rebuilt tranny installed back in January 2017.06 f150 5.4 4r75e.well something was not running right for about a month now. So I take it upon myself to change the fluid and filter. I drain the fluid out and drop the pan. I can not believe that they didn't put a filter on.lucky me 7 months of driving 15,000 miles. So watch your back. They are not in business any more .

 

How did they get the pickup installed without a filter?

Lack of a filter is no big deal, all it filters are big chunks anyway.
