87 F150 5.0 Clutch not disengaging.
87 F150 5.0 Clutch not disengaging.
HELP>>>> I have a 1987 F150 with a 6cyl. The clutch, press. plate were replaced new by previous owner.
I bought this truck with the clutch and pressure plate already installed and the clutch would not disengage.
I bled through several times with no change. So I removed trans, clutch, press. plate and there was no pilot bearing.. Does 87 have one?
I replaced the master cyl. and slave and bled again. Received a lot more rod travel but no disengagement. Another question does the slave have a clamp of some kind or does it just sit in with the pressure of the hydraulics?
My Clymers manual SUCKS!
