So i have my Trans rebuilt about a year and a half ago on my 02 f150 4.2land got 1 year warranty and exactly 1 year and 2 weeks it started acting up it was it would shift really hard and slip. So I took to mechanic and he said that the Trans needed to get rebuilt but he changed my trans oil and filter. And it worked perfect for4 months and now when I turn on my truck and drive I cold it works perfectly. But when it gets to normal temperature the od light starts flashing and the truck has a shutter/hesitation and wonwon't go over 40mph. It also has a check engine that an another mechanic read and it reads a silinoid and he told me to change them. But I just want to now if any1 has had a similar problem.

 

Get the engine and trans codes read and post the exact code numbers, please. Any old OBD2 code reader will read the engine codes, but a higher end scanner is required to read the trans codes.
