Ok I just bought this truck, 07 4x4 4.6. Codes coming up are p0753 and p0758 (Shift solenoid "A" Electrical and shift solenoid "B" electrical). The transmission shifts through all gears with no noises when the drivetrain is cold, then when it warms up it won't shift past 2nd... Then "trans fault" illuminates, OD light flashes and the CEL comes on. I've just replaced he solenoid pack, TCC solenoid, filter and fluid. I've noticed the plastic molded harness was pretty iffy... Is there something else that could cause this issue? Ford dealer said I needed to replace the whole trans at $3600. There were no metal shavings or anything else in the pan. I seriously just bought this a week ago and put 300 miles on it! Any help?

Fixed. Was the plastic wire harness in the trans pan!

 

Good deal - sure beats a new tranny!
