Ok I'm sure some of you guys have saw my post where i swapped a supercharged 5.4 and 4r100 from a 99+ lightning into a 98 f150 which was originally a 4.6/4r70w truck.

I have all the wiring and ecm from a 98 na 5.4/e4od in the truck and everything runs and does good except the speedo.

The e4od's had a different style vss on the trans than a 4r100. I am using the rear sensor on the trans for the speedo and it has the speedo way off, but working. SCT can only change the final gear drive ratio and not the pulses like the newer model vehicles. Is there some other way I can modify the speed sensor and make the speedo work correctly so the truck will shift correctly and speedo read correctly?

 

Found some info. The E4od has 8 pulses per rev. The 4r100 has 18 per revolution. Think this right here can fix that.
