I lost all my gears so I took the shifter and top off. I had a role pin come out. I Replaced it couldn't find old one put back together and now my forks are grinding. I took back apart to find that out. What do i do now?

Its a 1999 F150 with the 4.6L and has a m5od tranny. So i have found out the noise is coming from the transfer case. it like it won't go completely in two wheel drive?? Lost on what to do any kinda help would be great please and thanks
