Hey all, I have a 1995 ford f150 5.0L. Recently I have had some issues shifting into 3rd gear, every time I shift out of 2nd and into 3rd in grinds. Its a grinding noise like some one new is learning how to drive stick. I took it to the shop that replaced my clutch 4 years ago and they said they could not fix it. Today it was doing the usual grinding noise but when I shifted into 4th gear in would not come out. After having it parked for a while and off, I was able to start it up and get it into neutral. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I know a fair amount about cars, but transmissions are way over my head. I use my truck to tow my landscaping equipment around and need it asap. Any help, suggestions, and advice would be very appreciated!
