178,000 miles, fluid & filter never changed but level is perfect and fluid looked good. Having the OD problem. I have dropped the valve body and don't see any broken clips. I haven't took valve body apart. Truck was making a funky noise going down the road sometimes and when I'd slow down or stop, it would clunk like something was engaging and then it was fine until now won't go in OD. Sounds like it goes to nuetral. Transmission has never slipped. Is there more clips underneath the valve body plates that I'm not seeing? Really need help. Can't afford to put it in a shop.
