Front seal leak
Hi Guys,
Thankfully this is not on my F150 it's on my wifes 93 villager(at least it's still a Ford product). It looks like the front transmission seal may be leaking. Vehicle has 102k miles and dont really want to pull the trans to fix this leak($800-1000). I'd like to get a year or two out of the van if possible and then get rid of it. Are there any additives out there that would slow down the leak and let me get a year or two out of this van?
Thanks for the help.

Most auto stores carry a variety of transmission sealers; it's certainly worth a try. It may do nothing or you could get lucky and it would be eliminated or slowed down. Gunk and Berrymans are 2 of the more "established" brands.
