Finding the transmission problem...
First things first, do NOT try to troubleshoot your vehicle when running a 102 deg fever, you WILL do something wrong...
I rechecked the truck tonight, and found the ATF low. SO I filled it looked for leaks, none seen, then test drove it, sure enough the leak showed up bigger n snot...
The biggest problem is where the devil is the leak coming from?
Drivers side... You can see the ATF on the engine oil pan bolts and running along to the front of the pan.

Passengers side. You can see the flex rubber hose / line swollen and soaked with ATF. I suspect this is where my leak is...

Can the hose be replaced on its own, without replacing the aluminum segment? What size is that line, what type, and what sorts of clamps should I use? Would this be a good time to put in one of those inline ATF filters?
I should mention, with the ATF full, it is clean, and operates silky smooth, no problems at all, but as you can see, the fluid leak is rather fast...

Whatever the issue is, the trans / engine have to be separated. That is honestly a bit beyond what I am willing to do with the tools I have and at my age... Time to get it into a shop... It is going to have to wait until after new years though. I can't postpone everyone's Christmas because the truck is sick...
With as much as it is pumping fluid, and as far forward it is flinging it, I suspect that it is the torque converter myself, or possibly a front seal. Whatever it is, is allowing ATF to get onto the front side of the flex plate. I have fluid that is down around the starter gear.... This is FAR from right...
