I have an 1985 Ford f150 w/351W 4BL(Holley StreetAvenger) 670cfi 2WD and would like to swap my Metric AOD Tranny to a C4 or C6 - What would be the better tranny to go with without having to change drive shafts/mounts, etc. ? Any suggestions?

 

I swapped my E4OD trans out for a C-6 and i had to get a longer rear shaft and move my cross member up about 7"
So be careful it might turn out to be a headache.
