Compatibility

Hey just wondering if there are any manual transmissions other than the M50D, that are compatible with the 4.6 and 5.4?

What year? A few lightning guys have swapped to the viper and terminator cobra spec t-56 trannys. Its involved though

A ZF5 out of a Super Duty with a 5.4 or V-10 will work, but you need a body lift or have to hack out the tunnel.

Will the ZF5 work with the 4.6 as well? I'll modify if I have to.

A ZF5 from a modular V-8 or V-10 will bolt to any other engine with the modular bolt pattern. The 4.6 is a modular engine.
