Level setting question for Baumann shift kit

Is level three really not that noticable?

While reading the instructions, there are several extra procedures to increase, even more, the shift firmness and reactioins of the whole transmission, including the 1-2 shifts. After reading (and memorizing) the instruction manual, I felt like 4 may be overboard. However, I'm not speaking from experience. That's what I'd like to hear from yall (including you again Joe T).

Keep in mind, I feel, now, in no way, uncomfortable about digging inside the guts of my transmission. I feel so much more confident about doing this several times if need be. However, the weight for staying with level three and stepping up to level four are staying extremely level. I can't decide.

Thumbs up shift kit

Hey red bull

Ive had my Bauman shift kit in my truck for two months now. I had it set on level 4, in my opinion it`s just right. Not to hard and not to soft, i feel it`s the way it should shift stock.

I hope this helps.

Larry.

Go with 4. i think you said your truck is a daily driver?
If so that would be the wayt o go.
As far as my truck? It has only gotten better with time. I am now back to playing the radio over listening to the truck shift. LOL
Like I wrote to you before. My truck goes to the gym, store & shore.
I absolutely love the way it hauls *** when I need to get the heart beating again. I am thinking about getting my pace maker removed. LOL

Let us know how you make out..
