OSS Issue?

Okay first off let me start by saying i successfully converted my 99 f1 v6 to a 5 speed with only one problem. Everything works great except my speedometer. started my truck when i was finally finished and clutch works shifts great but i was cruising at 45 or so and it said i was going 95 or 100 and started hitting the governor. Looked at some previous threads on here stating it was most likely the output shaft speed sensor (OSS) guy at autozone said to put the oss from my old tranny (4r70w) in and try it. I went from going 100 at 45 to it not reading at all giving me any speed at all. guys at ford dealership had no idea why it would cause that. they said that the OSS had nothing to do with the speed and it was all on the sensor on the rear diff. so they told me to unplug the diff sensor and plug in the original sensor that was giving me a speed of 100 i tried that and still to no avail it reads 100 at 45. Any ideas? Ford dealer said try getting a computer from a 99-03 f150 v6 stick shift. I dont wanna go out and get one and blow 50 dollars if i dont have to also no parts stroes will let me return an OSS so like i said any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Didn't I say in your other thread that you might have to get a different ECU out of a manual trans truck?

I'm guessing it should work, but you are going to have to go to the dealer to get it flashed to your VIN.
