What to do to transmission?

Hi guys,

I have a 2006 F-150 that just turned 80,000 mi, and I am ready to do a transmission fluid change/maintenance. I have read tons of posts on how and what to do, what kind of fluid, flush or exchange, filter change or magnefine addition, and am more confused than ever. I am not wanting to start another Amsoil bash session/argument, all I am wanting is what have people done and what is working for them? I am really thinking I can go two ways,

1. Drop the pan, new filter, add drain plug, top with Motorcraft fluid, drop and top every 30k after.
2. Drop the pan, new filter, maybe forget the plug, do a full exchange with Amsoil Syn ATF, possible add a Magnefine filter.

I am leaning towards #2 as I plan on owning the truck for another 80k or so and with the Amsoil I will not have to worry about looking at it again. Please no long winded arguments, again all I want is facts on what you have done and what has been working, and are you happy with it? Thanks in advance.

Whatever fluid you use, a complete exchange is the best thing to do.
